(四)运用灵活有效的方法

1.注意循序渐进。英语听力的提高是一个循序渐进的过程，听力材料的选择要根据听者自身词汇量的大小及语法知识的掌握程度面定。

2.精听与泛听相结合。精听是听力的基本功，这不仅要求听者听懂文章的大概意思，还要听熟基本词汇、短语和结构。听音时可选用难度适中的配有录音文字的材料，但既不可看完文字材料再听，也不可边看边听，这样不利于听力水平的真正提高。可以先听，第一遍可能只听懂50%，第二遍可能会听懂70%，如果反复听还是听不懂的话，此时可以带着问题参看文字材料，然后再听。这样可以有效地提高听力水平。泛听的材料内容要广泛，泛听时可以不必像精听那样字字听懂，能概括大意即可。无论是精听还是泛听，听者在听音时要注意抓关键词，概括章大意，可采用做笔录的方式。做笔录的目的是帮助听者记忆所听信息，可用自己熟悉的任何代码表示一个词或是一句话。如选项是数字、地名、时间、人名等信息，可直接在选项上做标记。记笔记应提纲挈领，只记住主题句和关键词即可。

3.摆正听和说的关系，以说促听。听与说是相辅相成、相互渗透的。在教学中，教师应尽量用英语组织教学，也要求学生在课堂上尽量说英语，还可开设“英语角”，尽量为学生创造听英语和说英语的环境。
