教学过程:
Ⅰ。Greetings.
--What day is it?
--It is Friday, April eleventh.
--What day is tomorrow?
--It is It’s Saturday,April twelfth.

Ⅱ。Review:
Show the students the pictures in the cards and ask the students to say the words one by one.

教材分析:
Letters and sounds主要学习Uu,Vv,Ww,Yy,Zz六个字母和这六个字母在单词中的发音。要求学生能听说读写所学字母,并在学习字母音形的基础上,初步掌握五个辅音字母和元音字母Uu作为单词首字母的发音。建议教师把六个字母分散到每节课,用五分钟时间进行音形教学。在第五课时教完Zz,滚动操练之前的五个字母,并引导学生发现这六个字母在单词中的发音。

能听到字母就说出其对应的发音。

1.配对子
将学生分为两大组,教师说出字母,A组同学举大写字母卡,B组举小写字母卡。举的又快又对的为胜者。
2.记忆游戏
师给出一个字母,小组中第一名学生说出它前面的字母,第二名说出它后面的字母。以此类推,最后进行小组总结,奖励优胜组。
3.游戏Say letters:教师出示一张图片,如orange,生快速读出单词并大声说出相应的字母Oo 。此活动先由教师出示,全体学生说,再指个别学生说,然后学生在小组内进行Say letters:学生轮流出示图片,其他学生快说字母。
