大家晚上好！我是xxx班的英语老师，相信有校讯通的家长都知道我的名字了，在这里我再重申一下，这是我的名字和号码以及教育网短号，如果有任何事情，非常欢迎各位家长和我交流和沟通！下面我主要讲一下几个方面的内容：
一、英语的重要性
为什么要把这块内容放在第一位呢？我认为，不管是学生还是家长，如果没有意识到一门学科的重要性，那么他就不会去重视这门学科的学习，结果可以相信，学好这门学科的概率就很小。英语学科，以前在小学是不做要求。但是去年开始，英语学科已经成为了主科，小学主科包括语文数学英语三门学科，而且小升初考试英语也是要考的。那么意味着什么，英语应该得到各位家长的重视，以后上了初中、高中、大学，英语都是非常重要的。就拿大学来讲，不管你的子女以后学的是什么专业，英语都是必须考级的。所以我想说的是，小学阶段的英语正是打基础的时候，基础打好了，以后学起来才能轻松。
二、学习英语的方法
在此，我首先把英语书的各个部分以及要求说明一下。习英语离不开听说读写四个方面。听，上课听老师，回家听录音。每次作业我基本上都会布置听录音跟读的任务，也要求各位家长签字，请大家积极配合。英语课一个星期才3节，光靠上课的'时间是远远不够的，我们英语老师每个人5个班，想要每个学生去检查去督促显然是不可能的，所以还请各位家长在家里积极配合。说，在小学阶段还是有一定的难度的。所以小学阶段主要强调背诵，背的多了，英语自然会脱口而出的。我布置背诵的作业，也请家长在家里积极配合，我在课堂上也会进行全班背诵、分组背诵以及个别背诵的方式检查。读，在小学阶段我认为是最重要的。多听多读，英语才能学好。每天不管有没有英语课，都应该让自己的子女坚持每天读15至30分钟的英语。写，课本里要求书写的单词句子要掌握。
三、存在的问题
1、上课纪律问题（点名3次惩罚）
2、作业问题（校讯通，监督子女作业的人一定要知道作业。
3次以上考试扣分，请家长配合检查）
3、错题订正问题（错题一定要订正好，尊重老师，也尊重自己的学习）
4、考试习惯问题
5、习惯不好（作业忘带、忘做、错题不订正、考试题目做漏、不认真、考试名字不写……）
四、对家长的要求
1、重视英语，一起努力。
2、该签字的一定要签字。
3、尽量做到每天都读英语十几分钟。
4、作业问题（检查作业是否完成、前面错题是不是订正好、字迹清楚否、有没有装进书包里……）
我们的目标是公共的，为了孩子们的成长，希望各位家长和我们老师共同努力，为子女的明天奠定坚实的基础！
