During the summer vacation, I went back to my hometown in hunan with my parents to see grandpa.

In my hometown, I experienced a lot of new things. One of the things that makes sense to me is the coal stove.

Getting up in the morning, I saw grandpa busy in the kitchen. I asked grandpa what he was doing. Grandpa said, "Im in the coal stove." I say to grandpa: let me try! "

I used to be very simple to make a living coal stove, but actually coal stove is not good. 我照着爷爷说的做，将木炭和废纸放入炉中，用打火机去点，结果，由于我胳膊短，不是烧着了手就是火灭了。正当我愁眉不展时，突然看见爷爷的`灶台上放着一瓶酒，眼睛一亮，一个好主意涌上心头，我撒了一点酒放在废纸上。呼地一下，燃了！我高兴极了，赶紧往炉中加废纸和木炭，忙得不亦乐乎！

待木炭烧红了，我夹了一个煤球放进去，等它烧着。我站在一边想：”啊！原来这么容易呀！“我不由的得意起来。谁知，“骄兵必败”在我放第二块煤球时，由于我的粗心大意，煤球烂了，我只好哭丧着脸，把烂煤球夹出来。又用钳子夹了一个好煤球，踮着脚，小心翼翼地放进去，这才如释负重地松了一口气。

我的暑假生活，时间过去，假期马上过了一半，让我既紧张又兴奋，紧张的。是马上就要成为一名初中生，兴奋的是马上认识很多新同学新老师新课程，同时感谢老师的帮助，在这过去的暑假生活中，我学习到了很多知识，比如看书的过程中，把喜欢句子和词语画出来。

运用到日记和作文里，在接下来的暑假生活当中，我会学到更多东西。

Heavy rain on Tuesday, August 8th

It finally rained heavily today, and the weather suddenly became much cooler. In the morning, my dad and I went to the store, and halfway through it, it suddenly started to rain heavily again. We accelerated our pace and the rain suddenly started to rain heavily. When we ran to the store, our clothes got wet and our shoes turned into water shoes.

When I get home at noon, Im ready to brush my shoes. Ill take my wet shoes from the morning into the bathroom and rinse them with tap water. Then Ill find a shoe brush, a small stool, and laundry detergent. The preparations are ready, and Ill start brushing my shoes. I turned on the faucet and ran it while brushing. I vigorously brushed the outside first, then the inside. However, there were several areas that couldnt be cleaned, and the shoes were still dirty. So I turned off the faucet and sprinkled laundry detergent on the surface of the shoes. Then I used the brush to brush back and forth with force. I brushed many bubbles on the shoes, which were black and really dirty, indicating how dirty my shoes were, Its been a long time since I did it. If it werent for the rain getting wet today, I might not have done it yet. So I sprinkled laundry detergent on both shoes and vigorously brushed each one until it was clean, inside and outside. I turned on the faucet, placed my shoes on the flowing water head, and washed them clean. As I washed them, I used a shoe brush to brush them again. Soon, my shoes were completely wiped clean by me. I picked up my shoes and looked at them. They didnt look as black and dirty as before, and there was still a scent of laundry detergent left. I took my shoes to the balcony and found a ventilated place to dry them.

Watching the shoes I personally washed so clean makes me feel so happy. I will often wash my shoes in the future.

8月8日星期二大雨

今天终于下大雨了，天气也一下子凉快了很多。早上我跟爸爸去店里，走到半路天忽然又下大啦，我们就加快步走了，这雨是一下子就大了起来，等我们跑到店里的时候，衣服也湿了，鞋子直接成水鞋了。

中午回来家，我就准备把鞋子刷刷，我先把早上的湿鞋子拎进浴室，用自来水冲了一下，我又找来鞋刷、小板凳、洗衣粉，准备工作已做好了，我就开始刷鞋子了。我把水龙头打开，一边冲一边刷，我就用力的刷，先把外面刷刷，再刷里面，可是有几个地方怎么也刷不干净，鞋上还是脏的，于是我就把水龙头关掉，把洗衣粉洒在鞋的表面，然后就用刷子用力的刷，来回地刷，鞋子上被我刷出了好多泡泡，这些泡泡都是黑的真脏，这也说明我的鞋子有多脏，已经好久没刷了，要不是今天被雨淋湿，我可能还不刷呢。就这样我把两只鞋子都洒了洗衣粉，每只都用力的刷，直到干净为止，里里外外都给我刷干净了。我就把水龙头打开，把鞋子放在流动的水头上冲干净，一边冲我就一边用鞋刷再刷刷，很快我的鞋子就被我刷的干干净净。我把鞋子拿起来看了看一点也不像以前那黑黑的脏兮兮的'了，而且还留有洗衣粉的香味呢。我就鞋子拿到阳台找个通风的地方给它吹干。

看着自己亲手洗的鞋子这么干净，心里别提有多高兴了。以后我要经常洗洗我的鞋子。
