我的寒假英语日记【第一篇】
My mother often says that winter is the season with the longest meat. I say winter vacation is the fattest. Because there are plenty of fish and meat every day during the holiday, you can sleep when you are full. In order not to make me a little fat, my father would pull my mother and I downstairs to exercise after dinner every night. As soon as I came downstairs in the evening, I would run excitedly. My mother said I couldn't exercise violently after dinner.
I couldn't listen at all and ran away. Come to the small garden where you often exercise. Although it's cold in winter, it's very lively here. Some are dancing square dance, some are rope skipping, some are practicing songs, some are playing Taijiquan, and some grandparents get together to chat. I like to go to the place where the children stay. Many of us sometimes play games, sometimes learn to dance square dance, and sometimes play rope skipping. We have a lot of fun every time.
My parents stipulated that I could go downstairs to exercise for about an hour after dinner every day. In this way, not only will I not gain weight, but also my body will be better and better. I can't wait every night for my good body and to be with my good friends. I will insist!
寒假英语日记【第二篇】
"Whoever sees the moon can sit idly, but it doesnt look like where to smell the lanterns." When I heard this poem, I knew it must be about the Lantern Festival Lantern Festival. I also heard that I wanted to see the lanterns jumping three feet high. So on the fifteenth day of the first month, my mother and I walked towards the lamp market by moonlight.
Ah! Lantern Festival is more lively than New Year! You crowded me with people, and we entered the lantern venue. Ah, there are so many lanterns. Because it is the Year of the Ox, there are many bull lanterns, including dragon lanterns, phoenix lanterns, human lanterns and Olympic lanterns, which are dazzling.
I was deeply impressed by a lamp, which is a sacred flame tree. There are braziers on the branches, and there are burning fires in the braziers. It is like the Olympic flame, burning brightly on the graceful branches, burning the hope of the Olympic flame with the Chinese dream.
Hey, there are so many people, what is this doing? I squeezed in curiously, wow! Turned out to be playing "Kongming Lantern"! Legendhas it that the signal lamp of Zhuge Liang in Warring States Period was named "Kongming Lantern", which is also called wishing lamp. Its principle is the principle of hot air balloon, which makes the balloon expand and take off. "Kongming Lantern" rushes into the sky with peoples dreams and hopes, and disappears into the boundless night sky.
There is also a lighthouse, with many steps flashing with different lights. There is a golden dragon on the edges and corners of each floor. At the top of the lighthouse, there is a golden bull standing at the top of the tower. It stands there with its head held high, as if watching the people passing by, and as if wishing people a wonderful spring ploughing and a good harvest in the coming year.
Im a little tired, but Im still very happy. I sincerely hope that the Lantern Festival will be better and better next year.

初中英语寒假日记【第四篇】
Thrift is the foundation of all greatness. It is applied not only to money matters, but to everything else in life—the wise use of one's time, ability, and energy. In short, thrift is the scientific management of one's money, of one's time, of one's affairs, and of one's self.
Thrift is the best word for us. It makes fortune. It uplifts character. It improves the quality of the individual. The exercise of thrift has a very healthful reaction upon all the other faculties. The hab≤≥it of thrift denotes self-control. It is a proof that a man is not a hopeless victim of his weakness. It is a proof that he is the master of himself as well as of his finances.
Thrift is an educator. A thrifty man thinks and plans. He has a program. He has a certain amount of independence. If you have cultivated thrift, it means that you have the ability to control your desires and that you are developing some of the grandest human qualities—self-reliance, independence, prudence, and foresight.
We know that all great nations are founded on thrift. The ancient Roman Empire degenerated and came to an end when it ceased to be thrifty. Yet thrift does not require superior courage. It needs no fervent resolution, but only a little patient self-denial. And BEGIN is its device!
