He had seen this behavior and decided to act similarly. His parents had enormous difficulties getting him to stop. This showed me that TV shows can be more influential than parents. Finally, young people often feel like they have nothing in common with their parents, so their parents' influence in their live decreases. Young people think their parents do. For example, many parents are not as proficient as their children are at using modern technology. They might not even know how to surf the Internet or use an MP3 player. This gap in knowledge makes it very hard for them to find common ground with their parents. In conclusion, modern media and the world of technology have much stronger influences on young )(people than their parents do. As young people get more absorbed in television, movies celebrities, and their friends, parents should expect to continue losing more control over their believe that outside influences have stronger effects on young people than their parents do. This, however, is a mistaken belief.

water is the source of can't live without the increasing population and industrial development,water pollution has become a serious amounts of wastewater go into rivers and seas directly without being treated,which can be dangerous to lots of people pay no attention to saving water in daily life,while in some place water is badly needed.

it's time for us to take some measures to improve the should treat the wastewater before letting it go into can play a positive role in saving example we can reuse the water for wishing rice to wash vegetables and then clean a mop.

water is indispensable to our life and the development of national economy. it is often described as the source of all living things and the lifeblood of agriculture and industry. without it, nothing could grow and out world would become a terrible desert.

the world we live in is now faced with a severe shortage of fresh water. according to some official figures, more than 1,700 million people in the world don't have enough clear water to drink and over 25 thousand people die of water related diseases daily.

so, all of us should actively b save water. it's our obligation for the benefit of the future generations.

In someones eyes, they agree that a meaningful life is just a comfortable life which means they can enjoy themselves as possible as they can.

However, personally in my view, if we spend our whole life in pursuing things only for ourselves, we will surely let ourselves down when we look back.

There has been much talk recently about whether we should learn from books or we should learn from experience. Some people think that learning from experience is more important while others hold the different opinions. Personally, I side with the former, in the belief that experience is the best teacher.

Admittedly, learning from books, as advocated by many, has its active role to play in our academic life. It can put us in touch with the great minds and arm our heads with massive knowledge.

However, there are numerous merits for learning from experience，too. First things first, experience is the source of knowledge and understanding as well as meaning. Nowhere can the importance of learning from experience be described so vividly and accurately as in the old saying- “Nothing ever becomes real till it is experienced”。 Take the human progress as an illustration. Dating back to hundreds of thousands years ago, we human beings were utterly ignorant. But by incessant practices, our ancestors cumulated massive experience, from which they acquired a great amount of knowledge, transforming our world from a primitive society into a highly-developed one. Second, unlike the theories recorded in books, experiences can apply to practical use. When we are at work, what we need is the experience of practical application instead of the abstract theories in our books.

Taking all these into account, we can draw a conclusion that learning from experience is more important than learning from books. Always remember the old saying given by Einstein
