Today I’ll talk about our English club . Our English club was set up two months ago . Now we have members of 25 . We meet once a week on Saturday afternoon. So far we have conducted a variety of activities on English learning , such as watching English films , holding a Christmas party and getting together with foreign students .

Last week we held an English story-telling competition . We required that the entries be original and interesting and be presented in English within five minutes . Every member took an active part in the activity . Two foreign English teachers were invited to act as judges . At last Li Ping won the first place . Many members said the activity benefited them in many

ways . Not only did it improve their spoken English ,but also it brought them much fun . They hope many such activities can be held .

Some of us are having problems with our parents , as they often look into our school bags or read our diaries . I fully understand why we are not comfortable about it , but there"s no need to feel too sad. Our parents are checking our bags or diaries to make sure we are not getting into any trouble . They have probably heard some horrible stories about other kids and thought we might do the same . Or perhaps they just want to connect with us but are doing it all wrong . My suggestion is : Tell them we want them to trust us as much as we"d like to trust them .If you don"t think you can talk to them , write them a letter and leave it lying around ---they are bound to read it .

After the RainIt rained last I woke up this morning,I went out,I found that the earth was soft and wet under my feet as I made my way to the path which led to the stones and sand were mixed and arranged along the I stepped on them,they made my shoes muddy and difficult to drops of rain clung to the grass which grew on both sides of the house was a grey brick one with big looked even more grey and dreary than it did in yesterday's light shone through the front seemed to lend to the house a warm and in-viting entire countryside was indeed wet and dreary,and I was glad to go into the house from whic＜＞h shone the inviting light.
