The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are two typical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides forest destruction water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.

In order to live a healthy life you need to eat well, rest well, exercise well and perform daily activities accordingly. If you don't eat well then you probably won't have enough energy to do your daily tasks such as studying, cleaning the house or maybe even cooking. By eating well, you need to eat a lot of vegetables and proteins, you shouldn't eat too much meat or sweets.

Also, if you don't sleep well, you will probably yawn a lot the next day, which will make you perform less well in many things. In order to sleep well, you need to go to bed before midnight and sleep for eight hours or so, so that when you wake up you will feel refreshed.

Exercise will make you healthier and strong, so that you can live until a really old age. You can jog, play basketball or tennis or do many other athletic sports in your free time. Aside from living a healthy life physically, you also need to have a healthy mental life. Most importantly, you should have some hobbies that you are pursuing so that you are devoting your life to something meaningful, instead of wasting it.
