Drinkin coke is wonderful, despite the undesirble consequent hiccups. It's bitter, sour and peppery, but also sweet. And you'll even feel excited after gulping down a glass. A college experience is part of growing up. We cry, smile, fall in love, get hurt, leave, learn and then we become a better person.
University life is like drinking coke. I'm experiencing it. And I know, I enjoy it!

Thank you very much for choosing to come in such a cold my topic is about choice and research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. In my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. There is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference. Life is a box of chocolate,you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example, I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice,days have been harsh for cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths , I learned to act instead of complaining. In retrospect,the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.
NO matter what the choice is, enjoy the process. In the process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries,improvement and progress will come to you. These are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see make your life colorful.
There is no need and I donnot want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here,but I congratulate to myself for I gain a and enjoy this fantastic experience. I can never forget the summer in 1996. I went through an extremity ofdespair due to my failure in the National College Entrance Examination. Itseemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. Oneevening my father came and told me the story of Steven Callahan, who wascrossing the Atlantic alone in his sailboat when it struck something and was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyonehas survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone). Later in his narrative he wrotethese sentences “I tell myself I can handle it .Compared to what others havebeen through I’m fortunate”。
Hearing these sentences I felt something important struck me. I belived mylife would mot be that bad and it was proved to be true. Later during my studyin the university I always told myself “I can handle it” when my own goalsseemed far off or when my problems seemed too overwhelming and every time I saidit ,I always came back to my senses.
Now I work as an English teacher in a middle school. Whenever my studentscomplain about their difficulties in study or want to give up, I will tell thesame story of Callahan to them. I just want to make them believe they can handletheir difficulties because their circumstances are only bad compared tosomething better. But others have been through much worse. Then they will buildup fortitude.
So here, coming to us from the extreme edge of survival, are words that cangive us strength. Whatever you’re going through, tell yourself you can handleit. Compared to what others have been through, you’re fortunate. Tell this toyourself over and over, and it will help you get through the rough spots withlittle more fortitude.

Chinese New Year is the most important festivity for the Chinese people. Itis also called the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year.
Every year has an animal’s name. These animals are the rat, ox, tiger,rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. A Chineselegend says that these twelve animals had a race. The first year was named afterthe rat, the winner. The other eleven years were named after the order in whichthe animals arrived in the race. The clever rat jumped onto the ox’s back thenat the end jumped over the ox’s head to arrive first!
The Chinese believe that a person born in a particular year has some of thecharacteristics of animal.
On Chinese New Year’s Eve all family members enjoy a big, delicious is very important for the Chinese to be with their families on this is always part of the dinner because it represents abundance.
On New Year’s Day all Chinese children wear new clothes with bright is considered a lucky color. Parents and relatives give children thetraditional New Year’s gift called lucky money. This money is put into brightred and gold envelopes. Fill under the pillow. in the morning of new year , thekid wakes up to see the “lucky money”, express that oneself become one yearolder. Red is a traditional color for festivals, celebrations, weddings andbirthdays.
The lion dancers are always part of the festivities. The lion has a bighead and long body made of cloth. The lion dance is accompanied by drums,cymbals and noisy firecrackers. According to ancient traditions the great noisefrightens away evil spirits.
The dragon is the most important figure of the Chinese New Year festivitiesand parades. The dragon is considered a lucky figure. A parade dragon can be 20to 30 meters long! Sixty or more men move under a long cloth that represents thedragon’s tail.
During the parade children represent the animals of the Chinese are also acrobats and musicians in beautiful costumes.
