New technology involving networking information and automation influences the behaviour of business and enables significant transformation. This need to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in such a competitive age is increasingly crucial to the success of a business. This is why it is an exciting and fascinating period in both the commercial and economic world to study Business Management.

Adaptability, creative thinking and the application of technology are now intrinsic to managing businesses. I have developed these principles and enjoyed the spectrum of sixth form study that has taught me to approach problems from different political, economical and psychological perspectives. Throughout Business Studies, to complement what has been taught I have researched real-life business solutions and how they have been implemented, such as the responsive marketing used by Coca Cola to prolong their business cycle and sustain major profitability. Studying ICT has enabled me to examine the criticality of technology in giving businesses a competitive edge by considering issues such as organisational objectives, people and legal implications rather than making decisions based solely on financial factors. Furthermore, studying Psychology gives me insight into the human influences on organisational behaviour through studying motivational theories such as the hierarchy of needs model proposed by Maslow, whilst the coursework has developed my skills in collecting and analysing data in order to establish trends and draw conclusions. Studying English Language has allowed me to develop an ability to express my ideas clearly and concisely.

本科留学

一、申请条件

1.中国学生需要高中毕业，申请时候提供高中毕业证书和高中三年成绩单。

2.中国学生申请之前要提供雅思成绩，最低分数为6分。

3.芬兰本科多为每年秋季开学，并且是集中申请，秋季入学的申请时间集中在1月7号到2月11号之间，可以同时有4个申请选择。

4.芬兰本科申请中心将在每年4――5月份之间在中国北京，武汉或者上海，或者芬兰在中国的使馆，领事馆组织芬兰本科入学考试，根据学生所申请的专业不同，一般需要考试英语，数学，物理(商科)，或者英语和数理化综合试卷 (理工类)，另外部分学校还要求口语面试或者电话面试。通知考试的信件中会提及到考试地点，费用，以及所考成绩会被哪几所学校认可。

5.申请结果将在6月初以书面形式发到申请人手中。

二、申请材料

被芬兰高等院校接受的外国学生，必须出示能够支付在芬兰生活和学习所需所有费用的证明。芬兰及其它国家的居民均可作经济担保人。经济担保证明形式应是银行出具的申请人立户及带有存款金额的证明。担保人必须在芬兰一家银行以申请人名义(即在申请人名下)存入一年所需费用6500美元，然后由银行出个申请人立户及存款金额证明。

申请人须有最低额为7000美元银行汇票，或本人在芬兰银行的存款证明，第三国经济担保无效。

芬兰的学生可以每周打工20个小时，但是工作很不好找，主要是语言问题。如果申请去的是一些小城市学习，工作机会更少。雇主非常看中学习成绩，所以打工，也还是先要好好学习。

硕士留学

一、年龄

想申请读芬兰的硕士课程的学生需要在18岁以上但不超过35岁。

二、学历

申请读芬兰硕士课程的中国学生必须要在国内的本科大学或者是职业技术学院学习，如果是快要本科毕业的学生应该要尽早做好申请的准备工作，要开始准备各种申请材料。

如果要入学芬兰的硕士课程需要中国的学生在国内学习完本科的课程并且拿到学位，并且在本科的考试中拿到较高的分数，对学生在本科的考试中GPA要考到分以上，只有GPA的分数越高的话才越容易申请。

三、语言

申请读芬兰的硕士课程是需要英语的考试分数的，芬兰的硕士学位的申请要求学生的IELTS的考试分数要考到分以上，绝大多数芬兰的硕士课程需要学生的IELTS能够上到分才能入学，所以IELTS的分数越高的话会更容易申请到芬兰的有名的大学读硕士课程。

或者是考了TOEFL的同学分数要在580分以上，或者是在国内考了大学的英语六级证书都是可以去申请芬兰的硕士课程的，芬兰的各个大学对学生的英语相关的考试分数都有一些差异。

如果要申请读芬兰的硕士课程但是英语没有过关的同学，在芬兰是没有语言的预科可以去读的，所以想申请的学生在国内要提早把英语相关的考试考好，这样就不会耽误硕士的入学了。

四、专业

在芬兰学习硕士课程是不接受转专业的申请的，也就是在国内学习的本科专业，在申请读芬兰的硕士专业的时候也要跟本科学习的专业是一致的，如果是相关的专业申请也是可以接受的，或者是参加过跟申请的专业有关联的工作也可以。

五、经济

到芬兰去读书办签证的时候是不需要准备担保金的，但是需要提供存款的证明6万元以上并且是3个月以上的。如果被芬兰的学校录取了必须要提供能够支付在芬兰读书的全部费用的证明。

I am keen on all aspects of business, but am particularly interested in accountancy/finance and management.

Through my current study I have learned to be more computer literate and how to effectively manage my time. I became interested in accountancy when studying the finance unit in business studies and I am now completing an As level in this subject as I felt this would give me a sound footing when starting my university course

I gained an As level in sociology which has sharpened my ability to analyse information in depth, which is vital for management. Sociology has also helped me appreciate people’s different needs in society, which I see as an important feature in business

One responsibility that I held for a year was the role of the middle school prefect. This helped me to gain an insight into typical basic management responsibilities. In Year 13 I then became a senior prefect and our role within the school is to help out with such activities as fund raising and the school fate

Taking part in the Young Enterprise scheme taught me many skills; how to work independently and with a team which was one of the keys to our company’s success as “best company”

I attended a young enterprise presentation day where we were privileged to listen to guests speaking about becoming an entrepreneur. This brief course inspired me with a wish to one day own my own business. I feel that an accountancy/finance and management course will help me to place myself in the sector in which I am most interested and give me the aspiration to eventually achieve this In the sixth form work experience is optional but I believed I would gain great benefit from such a placement. I was fortunate to get a two-week placement in Lloyds TSB bank in Nottingham. As a result of my success with Lloyds TSB the manager offered me full time employment with training should I decide to take that route

Books have made a huge impact on my future goals. I have always beeninterested in studying biographies of famous people as to analyze their way ofthinking and strategies they use in real-life situations. Through readingbesides getting to know Plato, Nietzsche, Jung and their philosophies, I metsuch figures as Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki who deeply influenced myperception of the nature of money and of the world as a whole. From these twomentors I learned some successful principles which have lasted over hundreds ofyears, I learned what a lifestyle really means as well as what it is worth.
