高考英语作文【第一篇】
There is a widespread concern over whether it's a bad thing that people ive in a placeall their live. But it's well known that one man'meat is another man'spoison.
A majority of people think that staying in a place for a long time is a better their views there are two reasons contributing to this attitude as follows: in the first place, people who stay in one spot can develop a lifetime friendship, and such a friend will give a hand without hesitation if trouble comes .In the second place ,when people move to different places, they usually are under pressue from person may feel lost and tense in a place where streets, stores and schools are all different. As a saying goes :Fear always springs from ignorance.
people, however ,differ in their opnions on this people hold the idea that people shouldn't live in one place through their their opint of view,on the one hand, people who spend a lifetime in one location can be locked into a limited way of life. A real problem is that life lacks the other hand, those who move frequently have a variety of is a chance to appreciate different ways of life.
As far as I am concerned, I finally agree the view that people shouldn't stay in a place all their 's not only because people can broden their vision indiferent places, but also because fear will disappear with time. There is no doubt that nothing brave nothing have.
高考英语作文【第二篇】
i've opened the curtain of my east window here above the computer, and i sit now in a holy theater before a sky-blue stage. a little cloud above the neighbor's trees resembles jimmy durante's nose for a while, then becomes amorphous as it slips on north. other clouds follow, big and little and tiny on their march toward whereness. wisps of them lead or droop because there must always be leading and drooping.
the trees seem to laugh at the clouds while yet reaching for them with swaying branches. trees must think that they are real, rooted, somebody, and that perhaps the clouds are only tickled water which sometimes blocks their sun. but trees are clouds, too, of green leaves-clouds that only move a little. trees grow and change and dissipate like their airborne what am i but a cloud of thoughts and feelings and aspirations? don't i put out tentative mists here and there? don't i occasionally appear to other people as a ridiculous shape of thoughts without my intending to? don't i drift toward the north when i feel the breezes of love and the warmth of compassion?
if clouds are beings, and beings are clouds, are we not all well advised to drift, to feel the wind tucking us in here and plucking us out there? are we such rock-hard bodily lumps as we imagine?drift, let me. sing to the sky, will i. one in many, are we. let us breathe the breeze and find therein our roots in the spirit.
i close the curtain now, feeling broader, fresher. the act is over. applause is sweeping through the trees.
高考英语作文【第三篇】
As is vividly depicted by the drawing above, a boy is sleeping soundly① and comfortably in the sofa, with the television on, when his mother comes and turns off the television for him, blaming the boy for not having turned off the television again②.
This phenomenon can easily be found anywhere in our daily life. Many people are used to doing③ everything with the television on, not actually watching it at all. Such a habit can cause waste of much electricity and energy, and result in the emission of carbon. This deviates from the popular concept of “low carbon life” - to reduce the emission of carbon, especially carbon dioxide, to protect our environment and realize sustainable development. According to statistics, if we can decrease the time for having the television on by one hour each day, we can deduce the amount of carbon emission by kilogram each month.
To serve as responsible stewards of the planet④, we must promote and popularize a low carbon life among the public from every detail in our daily life. We must change the past practice of sacrificing long-term environmental health for short-term rapid economic development, and shift to developing green economy, circular economy and low carbon economy. All these effective measures can help us to reach harmony between development of the society and health of the nature.
高考英语作文【第四篇】
as is shown by the two graphs above, the average price of eggs was on the rise from 1990 to 1995 and the demand for them increased correspondingly. the graphs also indicate that during the period from 1995 to the price eggs declined, and so did the demand. the phenomenon is quite strange and worth studying. according to the law of market economy, the increase in demand results in higher prices. that is to say, when prices climb, the demand decreases, and when prices fall, the demand grows. now the reality was just the other way round.
the reasons for this strange phenomenon are obvious. during the period from 1990 to 1995 with the development of our socialist market economy peoples income, bonus and different kinds of benefits, increased rapidly. though the price of eggs rose gradually, the demand for them grew sharply, too. on the other hand, when the demand for eggs reached a certain point, it stopped rising because people began to spend more and more money on clothing, recreations and tours round the country and even round the world.
it is generally assumed that the epenses for tours accounted for a great part of the total consumption of the people in our country from 1995 to . as a result, it seemed reasonable that the demand for eggs declined during the same period of far as im concerned, with the domestic poultry farming continuing to develop, the price of eggs is likely to decline because the demand for them is limited and the fall in consumption of them is also inevitable.
