The Unfinished Story

Many years ago, the movie The Pirates of the Caribbean was very popular around the world. Many kids were so crazy about the captain Jack, who was sly but reliable. When the third episode came out, it seemed that the story had came to its end, because the ending was perfect though a little sad for the two main charaters. What’s more, captain Jack had got what he wanted. If the movie continued, it may probably sucked. But the producers had proved that the story was unfinished, and captain Jack kept his adventure in the fourth episode. It still caught people’s attention and won many praise. Recently, the preview of the fifth episode came out, the fans could find many attractive riddles. We still believe that the story has its charm and can attract people to buy tickets.

There is no doubt that everyone will encounter sad things in all his life. However, faced with sadness, different people usually take different attitudes to treat it.

毫无疑问的，每个人在他的一生中都会遇上伤心的事情。然而，在面对悲伤，不同的人往往采取不同的态度对待。

Generally speaking, the wise regard these sad things as their valuable experiences which are indispensable in their life. What's more, never do they have sadness haunt themselves. Quickly, they get rid of sadness and find new pleasures of life. Thus, their life always seems so fine. On the contrary, some pessimists always have sadness haunt them. Their mind always wanders into past sad events, which results in their moodiness and vexation daylong, and even causes sleepless nights, poor diets, frequent headaches, etc. Obviously, none of these results is what we want.

一般而言，聪明的'人将这些悲伤的事情当成有价值的经验，视之为他们生命中不可或缺的人生经历。更重要的是他们绝不会让这些悲伤困扰自己。他们很快会摆脱忧伤，找到新的生活乐趣。因此他们的生活似乎总是那么美好。与之相反，一些悲观者总是无法摆脱忧伤。他们的心思总是游离在过去的伤心事上，这些悲伤往事让他们整日闷闷不乐、困扰不安，甚至使得他们失眠、食欲不振、频频头疼等等。这些结果都不是我们所乐意的。

As a result, there is a great need for us to follow the wise persons' example and learn to rid us of painful memory. As an old saying goes, there are no such setbacks that we could not overcome. Keep in mind that never do you have sadness haunt yourself.

总之，我们很有必要跟随那些聪明人的做法，学会摆脱忧伤。常言道，没有克服不了的困难。记住，别让悲伤困住你。

Before, I believe in those words, I think if people insist, they can do everything. But last week, I saw a TV show, a scholarship told people to learn to give up sometimes, and they could gain more. He explained that he met a boy who was not good at studying, but he was skilled in cooking, so he encouraged the boy to give up studying the major that he was not good at and learned to be a cook. And now, the boy is a famous cook, it proves that give up is not a bad thing, people need to find the right place, or they will not successful.

有一首有名的歌叫《永不言弃》，那是我最喜欢的歌之一。歌词告诉人们无论发生了什么，永远不要放弃，然后你才会成功，如果你不放弃的话。以前，我相信这些话，我觉得如果人们坚持，他们可以做任何事情。但是上周，我看了一个电视节目，一位学者告诉人们有时候要学着去放弃，他们可以得到更多。他解释道他遇见过一个男子，擅长做饭，但是并不擅长学习，所以他鼓励男孩子去放弃他并不擅长的专业，学着去成为一名厨师。现在，男孩是一名出名的厨师，这证明了放弃并不是一件坏事，人们需要找到正确的位置，不然他们不会成功。
